Melissa G. Mahaffey Endowment Memorial Scholarship
The Melissa Gaye Mahaffey Memorial Scholarship was established by the family to honor the memory of their loved one who believed that our reason for living, our purpose in life, is to treat others with kindness, helpfulness, and thereby bring joy into the lives of others. Not only was this Melissa’s belief, but it was the way she lived her life. She was a positive force in our lives and we loved her so much. Melissa’s intense interest in her religion, education, music and her college major of occupational therapy were all directed at relating to people in a positive way and helping them.
