Cares Act Relief Aid

Students who are eligible to receive the standard $300 award may apply for additional CARES Act support. Those who have already completed the online application for CARES Act funding do not need to resubmit. Their requests for funding are being reviewed by a committee.

To be considered for additional CARES Act Relief Aid, the student must have a COVID-related expense/cost and provide supporting evidence. Covered expenses include food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child-care costs. Click here to view a list of possible covered expenses/costs.

Students who are unable to provide supporting documentation due to extenuating circumstances may provide a letter, signed and dated, that (a) explains the situation, (b) provides an itemization of the amount of aid being requested, and (c) states why documentation is unable to be provided.
Awards range up to $3,000.

Applications will be reviewed beginning Monday, May 11, 2020. Decisions will be made within three weeks from the day that the student submits their application.
