Carlos D. Fandal Endowed Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. The recipient must be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree in a discipline in the Arts, Humanities, or Sciences.
B. The university student must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA in college courses and junior standing with the scholarship to be awarded during the recipient’s senior year.
C. Scholarship is not renewable.
D. Submission of a formal one-page essay reflecting on the importance of the student’s chosen discipline and future goals and an accompanying c.v. with college service, awards and honors is required.

The selection committee will consist of CAES faculty, who will send recommended recipient(s) name(s) to the University of Louisiana at Monroe Scholarship Committee for final selection(s). The name of recipient(s) shall be forwarded to the Scholarship Office as soon as selection is made.
