Christine Taunton Scholarship in Nursing

Established from a bequest of James S. Taunton to be awarded only to the ULM School of Nursing students.

1. Recipient(s) may be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree in Nursing with preference given to, but not limited to, a student(s) who has been accepted into the professional nursing program.
2. As an incoming freshman, recipient(s) must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA in high school. A university student must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA in college courses.
3. Recipient(s) must apply annually for scholarship renewal consideration.
