College of Health Sciences Endowed Scholarship Fund for Medical Laboratory Science

NAME AND PURPOSE:

The scholarship shall be named the College of Health Sciences Endowed Scholarship for Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) established by alumni and friends of the College of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The purpose is to provide scholarships for deserving senior students in the MLS program in the College of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. The recipient must be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree in the College of Health Sciences.

B. The recipient must be a senior in the MLS program in the College of Health Sciences and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and a 3.0 GPA in MLS.

SELECTION OF RECIPIENT:
The MLS Scholarship Committee and the College of Health Sciences Scholarship Committee will send recommended recipient(s) name(s) to the University of Louisiana at Monroe Scholarship Committee for final selection(s). The name of recipient(s) shall be forwarded to the Scholarship Office as soon as selection is complete.
