David & Sharon Turrentine Opportunity Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. The recipient may be a full-time or part-time student enrolled at ULM pursuing a degree or certificate in one of the programs under the David and Sharon Turrentine School of Management.
B. Scholarship is not renewable.
C. Preference is to assist students who have a financial need as evidenced by the Student Aid Report (SAR) received by the university after the FAFSA process is complete each year and who might otherwise be unable to attend college without this scholarship. Students who are eligible for federal educational grants that do not have to be repaid, such as Federal Pell Grants, are not eligible for this scholarship, absent very extenuating circumstances. The Admissions Office shall have the latitude to make such a decision keeping in mind the original intent of this donation.

The Director of the David and Sharon Turrentine School of Management will select award amounts and recipients and report the selections to the ULM Scholarship Office for awarding.
