Dr. Lucy Shackelford Memorial Scholarship

Established by friends and family in memory of Dr. Lucy Shackelford who loved teaching and gave so much of herself to the education profession.

A. Recipient(s) must be a full-time student majoring in Kinesiology and must have completed a minimum of 36 hours towards their degree.
B. As an incoming freshman, recipient(s) must have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA in high school. A university student must have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA in college courses.
C. Scholarship is renewable if a 3.0 minimum GPA is maintained. The scholarship may be renewed up to a maximum of four semesters (two years).
D. The recipient must be enrolled during consecutive semesters.
E. Scholarships are not awarded during the summer.
F. The recipient is expected to exemplify the best in good citizenship.
G. The scholarship can only be used for tuition and other related fees including books. No cash refund is allowed.
