George and Ruth Smith Memorial Humanities Scholarship

The scholarship shall be named the George and Ruth Smith Memorial Humanities Scholarship, established by family and friends in honor and memory of George and Ruth Smith. The purpose is to provide scholarships for deserving students.

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:
The student(s) must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and be at least a junior with a major in the School of Humanities.

Majors include: Communication, English, History, World Languages-French, World Languages-Spanish

SELECTION OF RECIPIENT:
The ULM Scholarship office will send eligible recipient(s) name(s) to the Director of the School of Humanities. After review, the Director will send recommendations for award to the ULM Scholarship Office who will select the recipient(s).
