Harold Turner Endowed Superior Graduate Student Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. Recipient must be a new, thesis-based Biology M.S. applicant.

B. Recipient must have a 3.5 undergraduate GPA.

C. Recipient must meet ULM GRE requirements as defined by the Graduate School.
• Minimum Graduate Record Examination (verbal + quantitative) converted score of 750
• Minimum formula score of 1875 (GPA*GRE)

D. Recipient must be enrolled as a full time student.

E. The scholarship award will cover a two-academic-year period (continuous, four semesters) and will be non-renewable. Graduate students who do not complete their M.S. degrees in the two-year period will be eligible for a Teaching Assistantship in the third year of study.

F. Recipient must maintain a GPA of 3.25 each semester and significant progress in research.
