Kappa Alpha - Cactus Jack Memorial Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. Recipient(s) must be a full-time or part-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree at the university.

B. Recipient(s) must be an active member of the Kappa Alpha Gamma Nu Chapter who is in good standing with the Fraternity and the University.

C. In the event of two equally qualified applicants, additional consideration will be given to an applicant from a single parent home.

D. Potential applicants will be interviewed by Cyd Page Jacobs, Joey Jacobs, or a person selected by them.

Students must apply through the ULM Scholarship Portal in the month of February. The ULM Foundation Scholarship manager will schedule an interview date with the Kappa Alpha – Cactus Jack Scholarship Committee and email eligible members the mandatory interview event information. Based on the recommendations submitted to the ULM Foundation Scholarship manager by the Kappa Alpha – Cactus Jack Committee, the ULM Scholarship Office will select the final recipients and notify the ULM Kappa Alpha President and the Kappa Alpha – Cactus Jack Scholarship Committee.
