L. Marvin McKneely English Scholarship Award

The scholarship shall be named the L. Marvin McKneely English Scholarship Award, established by a bequest to honor Dr. Marvin McKneely, who served on the faculty of the Department of English from 1954 to 1980. The purpose is to provide scholarships for deserving English students.

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:

A. Recipient(s) may be a full time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree in English.
B. Recipient(s) must meet university standards for acceptance in the University of Louisiana at Monroe. A university student must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA in college courses.
C. Scholarship is not renewable.
