L. M. McKneely Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established through an estate gift by Dr. Marvin McKneely, who served on the faculty of the ULM English Department from 1954 to 1980.

1. Recipient(s) must have demonstrated academic excellence and interest in the study of language and literature while pursuing a degree in English.
2. For this scholarship, academic excellence is the primary criterion.
3. Recipient(s) must maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive the scholarship for both semesters.
4. Recipient(s) will be selected on the basis of grades, recommendations, and a sample of the student’s writing.
5. Scholarship is renewable if 3.0 GPA is maintained in the major field of study.
6. Recipient(s) must demonstrate integrity and high moral character.
