Marie Pierron Watson Memorial Scholarship

Established by family and friends in memory of Mrs. Watson who loved teaching and gave so much of herself to the education profession.

To qualify for the scholarship, a recipient must meet the following:
A. Recipient(s) must be a student pursuing a degree in one of the foreign language programs offered at ULM; preference to be given to a major in Spanish.
B. Recipient(s) must have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA in high school as an incoming freshman or in college courses as a higher classification student in college.
C. Scholarship is renewable if recipient remains in foreign language studies and a 3.0 minimum GPA.
D. Scholarship may be used to support students enrolled in foreign language study abroad courses.
