R. D. Castles Superior Graduate Student Endowed Fellowship

III. UPDATED AWARD CRITERIA for selection

The R.D. Castles Superior Graduate Endowed Scholarship/Fellowship in MFT will be awarded to graduate students in MFT who have demonstrated excellence in education attainment, as evidenced by the following:

A. Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA for Ph.D. students or a minimum 3.5 undergraduate GPA for M.A. students
B. Meet ULM GRE requirements
C. Be enrolled as a full-time student in one of the COAMFTE accredited MFT programs

IV. Selection of Recipient(s)
Eligible applicants will be reviewed by the MFT Scholarship Committee, comprised of all full-time faculty. Scholarships will be awarded for one-year based upon the review and recommendation of the MFT Scholarship Committee.. Scholarships may be renewed for one year for M.A. students and for up to two years for Ph.D. students based upon satisfactory performance as defined by the following: Maintenance of a minimum GPA of 3.25 each semester, making significant progress in research as determined by the student’s research mentor, and remain enrolled as a full-time student.
