The Wells Family Super Superior Graduate Endowed Scholarship
To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet the following:
A. Recipient must meet ULM admittance requirements as defined by the ULM Graduate School and the College of Business and Social Sciences.
B. Recipient must have received his/her undergraduate degree from ULM with initial preference provided to recipients who earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and secondary preference given to students who earned finance or computer information systems degrees.
C. Recipient must be enrolled as a graduate student who is pursuing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with preference given to those with a curriculum concentration is in accounting or secondarily in finance or computer science, and must be enrolled on a minimum half-time basis at ULM.
D. Recipient must have a minimum 3.0 undergraduate cumulative gpa to be selected for the scholarship.
E. Recipient must maintain a 3.0 gpa while enrolled in ULM’s MBA program to be eligible for continuance of the scholarship.
F. Recipient is eligible for renewal of the scholarship for multiple semesters, but the length of the scholarship is limited to two (2) years.
G. Preference will be given to students who have a demonstrated record of active service and/or leadership in student-led or community organizations which support ULM.
H. Should ULM develop a masters in accountancy program, graduate students pursuing this degree and meeting the previously stated requirements shall be given preference over other candidates for this scholarship opportunity.
The University Scholarship Office will provide the names of all qualified applicants who meet the criteria listed above to the Scholarship Committee of the College of Business and Social Sciences (CBSS). This CBSS Scholarship Committee will submit recommendations to the University Scholarship Office who will confirm eligibility before awarding scholarship funds.
