Emy-Lou Biedenharn Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship was established in memory of Miss Biedenharn who devoted her life to music and the fine arts.

1. Recipient(s) must be a voice student pursuing a degree in one of the following curriculums: Vocal Performance, Music Theater or Music Education.
2. To qualify for renewal of the scholarship, an undergraduate must have completed at least 24 hours in two semesters and achieved a 2.5 GPA for the two semesters, and a graduate recipient must have completed 18 semester hours in two semesters with a 3.0 GPA.

Note:

• This scholarship is awarded to applicants that have the major concentrations – Vocal Performances, Music Theater and Music Education with the following majors: Music Education, Performance, or now in the B.A. of Music.

• The VAPA faculty reviews both new applicants and previous year’s recipients that are eligible to renew. They also give us the award amount to award each recipient.

• Therefore, you will need to force apply all the recipients from the previous year that are eligible to renew and manually assign all reveiws to the reviewer.
