Franklin Parish Teacher Education Scholarship

Established by Glen and Jo Ann Williams to provide scholarships for deserving education students from Franklin Parish.

1. Recipient(s) must be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree in a School of Education program.
2. Recipient(s) must meet university standards for acceptance in the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
3. Scholarship is not renewable.
4. Recipient(s) must be a resident of Franklin Parish and plan to return to Franklin Parish to teach.
5. Recipient(s) must exhibit general evidence of professional characteristics and attributes essential to teaching (ie good attendance record, punctuality, congeniality, etc) as well as leadership and citizenship qualities.
